Why do even the simple things in life be so difficult to achieve. You do everything th
at you are supposed to do, and then luck/ destiny and the other crap happens. In the end everything is about luck… doesn’t hard work have any role to play?
People always say that you should have a positive attitude towards life and positive things happen to you. But why is it that whenever I try to think positive, everything just falls apart and things get more messed up? Then the cycle of negativity and depression starts all over again…
I am a very independent person and too proud to ask anyone for help… but for the first time in my life I want someone to take all my decisions for me and tell me exactly what to do. Do miracles really happen???

well i guess at times like these, we cant do much other than just wait. Yeah optimism dosent realy work at times, (this coming from an eternal optimist), at times we just have to let go. Like they say, This too shall pass.. Amen
(btw on the hindsight, that also is being optimistic, but then atleast one isnt actively working towards making things right)

i think it is a combination of hard work and luck.... i don't think one can consistently argue for one or the other only. sometimes you get purely lucky but that is just 'sometimes'

I was also looking for the same answers. Strangely I have not found one.
In today's world hard work is just one of the factors that adds to one's success. Yeah having lots of luck gives one edge over others.
There is no point in brooding over these thoughts as they only get you down.
The only thing that matters is satisfaction from within to come this far. The phases wont last long and surely if one keeps trying hard, no one can stop them from getting what they want.
I do hope miracles happen, coz I am waiting for it to happen :D

not ALWAYS. I believe that hard-work indeed pays off in the end. Im speaking with experience.
Although some ppl r in 'more luckier' circumstances than us, always remember there are much 'less luckier' ppl than us.
